Darryl Turpin Guitar

I am based in Danville, Virginia where I’ve lived since childhood.

I’m a family guy who loves the outdoors and enjoys meeting great people. Strangers aren’t strangers around me very long.

Like a beautiful landscape transports the eyes, I love music that, in a similar way, transports the senses and thoughts. I’m drawn to music that is beautifully arranged, flows, and possesses ambient elements. Composing, arranging, and performing music has been a significant part of my musical life. I enjoy the “creative puzzle solving” aspect of creating new music. I’ve been performing solo instrumental guitar music since 2005, but I’ve also played in instrumental Jazz bands. Of those, Dos Guitars, with my good friend and long time band mate, Mark Percario, has been the most rewarding and enriching. For more info on Dos Guitars, see the links below.
